No class at all!

Every school has bad fans. It happens at every game. I said after the Rye Cove game about how redneck Nortons fans acted at the fence and it was true but every school has them so don't think that one school is that much better than the other.
Norton also has some of the nicest, most polite and garcious fans, just as other schools have the same.

I was trying to figure out if that meant they "were" the class of the LPD. Or was trying to say "we're" the class.

Judging by previous posts on this thread, and others. I don't know if anybody is the class of the LPD. And I'm not talking players.

It seems like most every team has some of the worst winners and the worst losers there can be (and they probably are the same people, just depending on the way the game goes).

That being said, you can't go judge the town or the school by a few. No doubt there is some idiots at PV, at Norton, at Wise, at Clintwood, at Pound and at Appalachia. Still is some at Coeburn, Gate City, Haysi, Honaker, and as I found out last night, even Lebanon.

It's everywhere, and hate to tell you, yes they even exist at the school you support, the only reason you don't notice it is, it's not towards you or you are involved in being a previously mentioned idiot.

So did Norton have some fans who cussed Powell Valley players/fans? Absolutely. Did Powell Valley have some fans who cussed Norton players/fans? Absolutely. Stop pretending that your side is above it.

PV is far from the class of the LPD. Appy is not the class. Neither is Pound or Kelly or Clintwood.

In a nutshell no one in the LPD is the class of the LPD.

If you take that statement then Norton surely isn't the class of the LPD. Especially since you are pretty sure Burton will go to game 14. I have seen a few Norton fans saying "PV can't stand it" and quite a few PV fans congratulating Norton on here.

I find it stupid that we are fighting over high school kids.

What is classless is Phil not even speaking to Jimbo after the game, just slapped his hand and went on. He won't even acknowledge that he has gotten out-coached the last 3 years with the talent being pretty much even the last 3 years for both teams. His statement in the newspapers prove he is bitter, a former PV FB coach told one of our coaches this summer that all Phill has talked about since winter is beating Norton. He was obsessed with it happening twice and now it has 3 times.

Well this is my first post on here...I signed up to monitor my Son on here but after reading this posting about Norton's Fans being trash I simply can not remain silent. This is simply my opinion, for what it's worth, Fans will always be rowdy, there will always be at least a few redneck drunks around who have no clue, and there will always be signs made by High School kids trying to beat out the others in cute sayings putting the other team down. In this area where Football is God what else do you expect? I personally would love to see many of these people ( at least half) at some baseball games supporting the same guys they cheer on each fall but any way I am straying from the point. At the game last night I witnessed a sign saying that all the hard work that the kids from Norton puts in all amounts to them "cheating" their way to victory? Please, then I saw the PV players enter the field to applause and silence from the Norton side. I then saw the kids from Norton enter the field to loud Boos from the other side. Then after a hard played game, my six year old and I were going to speak to my oldest out on the field, when his Father was verbally attacked by the great Leader of PV, Mr. Phil Robbins. His remarks were out of line, childish and very hard to explain to a small child wanting to know why that man was yelling at his Daddy? He was told by this man "go ahead and get another runner up" and get off "My Field", along with other fans and mostly parents going on the field. Last time I checked that place was a public park? Could be wrong not sure. No one has said anything about the behavior of this man last night. To the best of my knowledge Coach Adams from Norton has NEVER attacked or said anything to any fan or player from another team. Last night went beyond fans, it's to be expected sadly enough, however I simply can not get over a grown man who is supposed to lead by example acting like a small child who suddenly wants to take his toys and go home. I seem to remember watching PV fans cheering and having a good time on the field at Norton after beating us at many games. Someone needs to speak to the behavior of this coach, I for one am glad that my son can look to Coach Adams to teach him to win and lose with some dignity. I for one am tired of explaining to my son why "those people" are saying "those bad words" to us after winning a game in Bullet Park.

I'm glad someone realizes that!! Phil has no class when he lose and PV people have always been cocky and arrogant. If they didn't have those signs up maybe norton fan wouldn't have bee so fired up.

As far as those signs go, you know there was an adult from inside the school that let the cheerleaders write [censored] like that. So don't go saying norton people don't have class.

Buy the way Brad better be glad he didn't make to the section of bleachers he was going to, cause them guy were during him too. I would of set back and laughed.
